RETURNS

Abby Sparks Jewelry SHOP offers free exchanges and refunds for unsized and unmodified items for 7 days after the delivery date. 

All returns are processed to original form of payment, and must be initiated within 7 days of delivery. Contact [email protected] to request a return. 

All resized or modified rings incur a $250 return fee. Return fees will be waived for items exchanged for a store credit.  

Custom jewelry can not be exchanged or returned for a refund. 

Shop items must be returned in their original condition, with all original packaging and documents intact. 

Returned items are inspected by our client service team, and store credit or refund will only be issued after finding the item in saleable condition – untampered, unworn, and in brand new condition. Item condition determined at the sole discretion of Abby Sparks Jewelry. 

Credit card refunds will be processed in 3-10 days. Bank transfers and international refund processing times vary. 

Sale items are non-refundable, non exchangeable, non returnable. 

Please email our client service department at [email protected] to initiate your merchandise return or exchange. All returns and exchanges must be authorized by our client service team and could take up to 5 business days to be approved. Packages mailed without confirmed return authorization by Abby Sparks Jewelry will be refused and returned to the sender. 

Authorized returns must be sent back to Abby Sparks Jewelry within 7 days of approval, or your return will be null. 

Final sale merchandise and damaged or worn jewelry will not be accepted for return. 

We do not offer refunds for shipping costs, credit fees, or bank transfer fees.

We (ASJ) reserves the right to deny unreasonable returns.

If a package is returned because the customer provided a wrong address or has not claimed a package after all delivery attempts, a refund will not be issued. Customer will be responsible for shipping costs should a package need to be reshipped. 

exchanges

Abby Sparks Jewelry Shop offers free exchanges up to 7 days after the delivery date. Contact [email protected] to request an exchange. All exchanges must be initiated within 7 days of delivery. 

Exchange items must be in their original condition, intact.

Custom jewelry can not be exchanged or returned for a refund. 

Sale items are non exchangeable.

If you exchange an item of lesser value than your original purchase, the remaining balance will be applied as store credit. If exchanged item is of higher value than the original purchase, ASJ will send an invoice for the difference.

SHIPPING

All Abby Sparks Jewelry SHOP items qualify for free domestic shipping within the USA. 

All shipments from ASJ SHOP require signature confirmation.  

Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 3: 00 pm and Friday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Delivery Saturdays and Sundays is unavailable. 

Customer will receive an email with tracking information within 24 hours of your purchase being shipped. We do not offer shipping to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses. 

 

 

LOST OR DAMAGED PACKAGES

Please check the integrity of your package before signing for it. We recommend refusing the package if it has been obviously damaged or tampered with. Once you have signed for and accepted the package, all responsibility is removed from the shipper. If you suspect damage due to a dented or bent shipping package, please inspect your purchase before signing for the package. 

Abby Sparks Jewelry is not responsible for lost or damaged packages after they have been signed for.  Customers accept responsibility for caring for their jewelry, and obtaining proper fine jewelry insurance to cover loss, theft, and damage upon signing for their package.  If your package was lost/damaged in transit before it is signed for, please contact [email protected] to initiate a claim. 

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS

We do ship internationally. Please contact [email protected] to complete your order with your address and item(s) you wish to purchase to receive a shipping quote. 

Shipping and handling charges are based on shipping location and current rates and fees. Depending on the size and nature of a particular order, an alternate shipping method may be required. 

 

Please note, all international packages are subject to taxes and duties upon delivery in your territory and international orders are not eligible for refund or exchanges. Shipping quotes exclude duties and taxes. 

For international shipments, customs officials may open and examine package contents. In that case, the package will be resealed and officially stamped before being delivered. If your package is taking longer than the estimated delivery time, please be patient. Your package may be held up in customs and will still be delivered.

 

Warranty Policy

Love Lore Jewels provides a 3 month limited warranty from the date of purchase on all jewelry products sold, during which time Love Lore Jewels will repair for free any damages or lost melee (melee is any stone 2mm or less) from normal wear. 

Love Lore Jewels reserves the right to assess and decide what constitutes normal wear and tear. If jewelry is noticeably bent, shows improper care, or is damaged in any other manner beyond normal wear, Love Lore Jewels will repair the ring at fair market value. 

Love Lore Jewels will replace center stones and accent stones over 2mm at fair market value. 

Customer is responsible for all repair shipping expenses. Please email our client service department at [email protected] to initiate your repair.

 

Please note, that if any jeweler other than Love Lore Jewels makes alterations or repairs to your jewelry, the warranty will be voided.

 

The loss or theft of a jewelry piece is not covered under warranty.

 

Jewelry insurance

Custom fine jewelry bought in the Abby Sparks Jewelry Shop comes with an appraisal. Appraisals can be submitted to the insurance provider of your choice. We can supply you with updated appraisals if you need them.

Once Abby Sparks Jewelry has delivered a shop item to its owner, Abby Sparks no longer provides insurance coverage. We recommend clients organize insurance coverage upon receiving their custom fine jewelry. Through no affiliation nor endorsement, we advocate Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company for the depth and quality of their coverage.

Repairs and resizes

After your 3 month limited warranty, Love Lore Jewels will repair or resize any jewelry purchased through www.abbysparks.com at any time. Repair fees apply. 

Contact [email protected] prior to shipping your piece to authorize your repair and receive a quote. Packages received without prior authorization will be refused and returned to the sender.

Love Lore Jewels offers one free ring resize prior to shipping your jewelry. Fees will apply to any resizes requested after jewelry has shipped. 

Please email [email protected] to authorize your resize and receive a quote. Packages received without prior authorization will be refused and returned to the sender. Shipping expenses are the responsibility of the client. 

defects

In the unlikely event that you receive defective or damaged jewelry (with the exceptions of damages incurred during transit) a refund, store credit, or an exchange may be possible. Please contact [email protected] within 3 days of receiving your purchase with images and a description of the damage. 

ALL DEFECT REQUESTS MADE MORE THAN 3 DAYS AFTER DELIVERY WILL BE NULL. 

Before a refund is possible, the defective product must be returned in its original condition and packaging. Shipping expenses are the responsibility of the customer. Packages sent without prior authorization from our customer service team will be refused and returned to the sender.

Color variation will not be considered an acceptable description as a defective/damaged refund or exchange. Great care is taken to accurately describe the stones and metals and color variations may occur because of differences in monitor settings. 

 

special care

Opal Jewelry

Opals are very soft stones, and because of this we highly recommend that you take extra care with all opal jewelry. It will need to be checked more than once a year. Keep in mind, opals have the possibility of cracking when they are exposed to rapid changes in temperature, pressure, or in when in contact with chemicals. It is also important to not store your opal in a dry place, as opals can crack if they don’t have enough moisture. They are best stored wrapped in a soft cloth with a few drops of water in it. Many opals need to be oiled a few times a year, especially in dry climates such as Colorado. We do not recommend that opals be cleaned with ultrasonic cleaners.

Emerald Jewelry

We recommend taking extra care with all emerald jewelry. Though they’re harder than opals, emeralds are not as tough as diamonds, sapphires, or rubies. If not cared for properly, your emerald can be scratched, dented, cracked, or damaged by changes in temperature or pressure, or when in contact with harsh chemicals. Many emeralds need to be oiled a few times a year, especially in dry climates such as Colorado. We do not recommend that emeralds be cleaned with ultrasonic cleaners.

Diamond Jewelry

Diamonds are the hardest and most durable stone choice for jewelry, however, because of their strength they can cause damage to your jewelry setting or other jewelry pieces over time should you wear your jewelry in a stacked or layered capacity. It is important to get your stones checked regularly so that your diamonds aren’t rubbing against other jewelry or so that your diamonds aren’t trying to liberate themselves from their existing setting. Be mindful when pairing diamond jewelry with jewelry containing softer stones, so that you can avoid scratching or cracking the gemstones or metal on your other jewelry pieces.
