Designers’ Notes:
The Jory blue and pink sapphire cluster ring was made for our client who wanted a gemstone focused ring that was inspired by our planet, modest in size, and unique. She loves colorful sapphires in blue and pink because they can change appearance when the lighting changes. It was important to her that her ring did not feel too cool with white metal and all blue tones – she wanted her ring to be warm and exude joy. Using all of this knowledge, we drew up several designs, finally landing on this pear cut Montana sapphire ring with colorful sapphire clusters. The 0.65 carat, teal blue sapphire is set on a tilt so that the pear cut center creates playful lines for the eye to follow. The sapphire clusters on either side burst outwards to emulate a feeling of joy, and introduce winks of color. The entire design is set in a warm 14k yellow gold.
