Abby Sparks Jewelry is a custom fine jewelry showroom in Denver, Colorado, specializing in handmade, one-of-a-kind custom engagement rings, unique wedding rings and heirloom diamond upcycling with an unrivaled customer experience.

Operations Manager

The Job: The Operations Manager at ASJ is responsible for the daily activities involved in the marketing, sales, production and delivery of our custom jewelry experience, including but not limited to:

Responsibilities:

  • Management of all Abby Sparks Jewelry personnel including: ASJ employees, independent contractors and a team of interns
  • Oversight and management of jewelry production process and logistics, including: client interface, stone sourcing, jeweler interface, timeline management, client delivery and follow up
  • Provide excellent customer service and properly manage client expectations
  • General office management of day-to-day operations
  • Conduct client interface, including: answering general inquiries and managing communication with prospective, current and past clients
  • Work closely with company finances through management of accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Project management as it pertains to production, marketing, operations, sales and business development & growth
  • Marketing and brand management including: management and coordination of marketing team, direction and oversight of social media initiatives and brand development
  • Website management including: coordination of SEO / SEM efforts, oversight of general website maintenance, direction of website design and user experience

This position requires self-direction, responsibility, drive and ambition. The operations manager will be involved in every aspect of the business and will not only make high-level decisions and direct operations with the help of an intern, but will also perform the actual work and implementation.

Requirements:

  • Self-starter
  • Process and systems oriented
  • General knowledge of E-commerce/website management
  • General knowledge of marketing and brand development as it pertains to digital marketing, social media, product development, product placement and product positioning
  • Excellent understanding and up-to-date knowledge of social media platforms including but not limited to: Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram
  • Excellent product/service digital marketing skills, to include experience with product placement and positioning (knowledge of luxury/retail a plus)
  • Excellent organizational, analytical interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills
  • Keen awareness & perception of online marketing/branding of products
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to multitask with high-level of attention to detail

A Total Bonus:

  • Experience with GDrive and Asana or other project management software
  • Experience marketing, branding, selling and/or developing luxury products, particularly fine jewelry
  • A passion for style and fine jewelry trends
  • Ability to research, identify and forecast market & industry fine jewelry trends
  • An inherent eye for design and aesthetic
  • Ability to identify market and demographic opportunities in accordance with brand aesthetic & target cost points
  • Develop well-imagined and succinct marketing initiatives
