Designers’ Notes:
This Montana sapphire engagement ring was made for a Wisconsin couple who wanted a ring that is as practical as it is beautiful. The choice to use a sapphire center stone with a diamond halo had two factors: intentionally combining the birthstones of the couple and ensuring the engagement ring was ethically mined. Alternating diamond sizes in the halo, as well as the milgrain detail surrounding the center sapphire create a unique antique look. At the same time, 14k yellow gold adds warmth and depth to this future heirloom.
