Designers’ Notes:
This east-west set oval engagement ring was designed for a client who wanted an ethical diamond and a meaningful ring. From the top this oval cut solitaire ring looks very clean and minimal. From the profile view, however, more stones are revealed that hold special meaning for the couple. Four alexandrites, representing the couple’s Gemini zodiac signs, are bead set in the head of the ring and are surrounded with an ornate milgrain pattern. On both sides of the 14k yellow gold band, four diamonds are flush set at NSEW.
