Designers’ Notes:
This Legend of Zelda engagement ring was designed for our client who loves video games. We based this super unique design off of Majora’s Mask from the video game The Legend of Zelda. We used ethical lab grown alexandrites to achieve the purple color of Majora’s Mask, with a pear shaped center stone that’s reminiscent of the shape of the mask. A halo of marquise cut diamonds and alexandrites fan out from the center stone in a tight, spiked formation. Smaller round brilliant cut diamonds are set in between marquise cut diamonds, filling out any space between the larger diamonds to round out the top of the design. We created dragon talons coming up under the head of the ring which then form prongs to secure the gemstones, adding serious drama to this already show stopping piece. Dragon scales were molded into the 14k white gold metal, creating luxurious texture. Diamond melee is set into the scales to catch sparkle from every angle.
