Designers’ Notes:
This light blue sapphire asymmetric cluster engagement ring was designed for a client who grew up on the lakes in Michigan, and whose birthstone is aquamarine. To match the blue color that meant so much to them, as well as ensure that their engagement ring was durable enough for daily wear, we sourced a light blue sapphire for a center stone. Using smaller aquamarine, sapphire, and diamond accent stones we created an asymmetric cluster design reminiscent of spiral shapes. A 14k white gold prong setting allows lots of light to get into the stones for maximum sparkle. A secret inscription inside the band reads “to infinity and beyond.”
