Designers’ Notes:
This celestial constellation necklace was inspired by the stars and the colors of a supernova. Our client wanted something asymmetrical and unconventional. We used alternating shapes of trillions, rounds, and square cuts to keep the entire design within a really geometric aesthetic. There is a slight tapering of the metal bands extending between each of the stones, while a knife edge on the metal adds angularity. We used gemstones of citrine, sapphire, alexandrite, ruby, and peridot to keep the colors really consistent with an outer space supernova look. The whole pendant is set in 14k rose gold for a warm aesthetic.
