Designers’ Notes:
We worked with Beth’s fiance to surprise her with this round diamond knife edge pave custom engagement ring. After telling us that she has “classic style” and “good taste,” we sourced a timeless 1.8 carat round brilliant diamond and prong set it in classic yellow gold. The tapered band has a knife edge with handcrafted milgrain detail. Small round diamonds are bead set on either side of the knife edge, increasing in size as they move further from the center stone. A simple basket prong setting reveals as much of the diamond as possible, with a small claw to add design detail. An allover matte finish gives the ring just a hint of edginess.
