Designers’ Notes:
This repurposed diamond constellation engagement ring was named for our clients’ grandmothers, whom the diamonds in this piece originally belonged to. The Betty and Shirley custom ring features a “constellation” of diamonds spattered asymmetrically across the band. We used minimal metal to create a delicate look with a lot of negative space between each stone to move the eye across the piece. Different sizes of diamonds within the composition add a touch of whimsy. High polish white gold keeps the design timeless in contrast to the unique placement of the diamonds.
